And, Back To Work!

The out of town guests have left, the Christmas decorations have been taken down, and the boys are back in school (homeschooling). I’m raring to get back on my regular schedule!

So, on Monday, I expected a regular, humdrum day. But, I didn’t get it… The contractors showed up to replace our front door. They had to cut into the cinderblock and, by noon, my brain cells were rattling from the noise.

Our new puppy, Coco, was SO happy to meet the contractor that she…peed on his feet. She then peed on his assistant’s feet. She jumps on (and then pees on) every new person who comes in the house!! She LOVES everybody!! The rest of her potty training is going very well. We’re not sure what to do about the sprinkle greetings!

Ali and Justin had to go to Orlando so they dropped off their dogs. Coco went NUTS! She and Georgia (Ali and Justin’s puppy) wrestled loudly ALL DAY LONG. More excitement led to more sprinkles. Ack!! Their older dog, Jax, was an angel. He likes to lie next to me while I work.

Richard and his dad had to go to Orlando for a conference so I had the kids AND all the dogs all day long.

If the rest of the new year proceeds this way, it will be a crazy one!
