Breathe In, Breathe Out…

The holiday mayhem has ended and we’re breathing a big sigh of relaxation. While I do enjoy the holidays, taking down the decorations and preparing for a new year is very cleansing for my soul. We did absolutely nothing all weekend and it was heaven! I did cook a nice dinner on Sunday. I hated cooking years ago but now I find it very relaxing and, when I’m making something fun, it’s a great outlet for my creative side.

The good news of the week is that we had another record year for the WritersWeekly.com and Booklocker.com in 2004! The other good news of the week is that my brother is giving me the antique piano that’s been in our family for years. The bad news is that it’s going to cost more than $1K to ship it up here. The other bad news is that we took the van in for its annual check-up and it needs $940 of work. Oh well. Easy come, easy go…

If you’ve always wanted to write your life story but have a hard time recalling your memories, you’ll have fun taking my memory triggers / autobiography class that starts this Monday! It’s only $40 and we all have a ball sharing memories with each other while recording them in our notebook of age pages. No deadlines and no scheduled classes. The entire course is via email at your convenience. Join us!
