We’re on vacation so I’m going to post some pictures from our trip this week.

- Chocolate cup with coffee mousse inside. I ate the chocolate spoon first, of course!
- We found a small Oktoberfest festival here in town and the boys had a great time playing while I bought some goodies from local crafters.
- This is, of course, Max’s favorite time of the year!
- The cabin we’re staying in this week.
- The view from our back porch is Heaven!

I have a Maxism for you this week:
We’d been on the road for quite awhile and were were driving through the Smoky Mountains, far away from our home near the coast of Florida. Mason was complaining because I wouldn’t let him play with the iPad. I told both the boys, “Look outside! It’s so beautiful! This is the time of year when God pulls out his paintbrush and gets to work.”
Max said, “For some reason, he doesn’t paint Florida…”
