It’s pouring right now and it’s been pouring for hours. The pool is quickly filling up. By this time tomorrow, it’ll be overflowing.
Our puppy, Coco, hadn’t experienced any big Florida thunderstorm until this month. I didn’t want her to be afraid of storms knowing that, at some times in the future, she’ll be here alone when it rained. So, each time it’s stormed this month, we’ve talked gently and playfully to her, remaining calm ourselves.
Now, when it thunders, she just raises her head and then goes back to snoozing or playing, thank goodness.
