What to do when a major educational publishing company publishes a book that is almost exactly my manuscript with same plot..setting..character relationships…crime…history of town and resolution of conflict? I investigated the true story and had the help of a reporter and two federal agencies. Is it possible that another writer in my state wrote the same story in same timeframe? This story did not garner publicity. Now..I need a lawyer? This is so wrong.
