Pre-wedding Events!

Pre-wedding Events!

Next weekend, we are traveling to Georgia for a bridal shower and a couple’s shower. (That’s the same weekend as the Fall, 2015 24-Hour Short Story Contest! Yea!!) In early October, it’s back to Georgia for a bachelorette weekend. Then, not wedding related but still very important, the annual Halloween party. Whoop!!! And, in November, our daughter’s wedding. Shwew!!

Unfortunately, since Ali and Justin will be in Europe for Thanksgiving, and since Zach and his beloved will also be out of state, we’re going to have the smallest Thanksgiving ever this year. I must remember to get Ali’s dinner roll recipe before she leaves! She’s a professional pastry chef and her rolls make AWESOME leftover turkey sandwiches!! Let me know if you want the recipe, too!! 😉

THIS WEEK’S MASONISM

After seeing his 13-year-old brother’s homemade horror movies on YouTube:

I can’t bake to save my sorry soul, but I adore homemade breads and rolls, and so I would love to try Ali’s recipe. But since she’s a professional pastry chef, are you sure she won’t pull the ol’ switcheroo and leave out a key ingredient or step? Pardon my skepticism, maybe that just happens in my Italian family with the “secret” sauce and the “mystery” meatballs!
    Buon appetito!
