Deep Sea Fishing!

I am officially “on vacation” this week (in Key West) but I wanted to tell you about our deep sea fishing trip! There were four of us (me, Max, Frank, and my step-mother-in-law, Rita).

As soon as the boat stopped moving and dropped anchor, Rita got seasick so she did no fishing at all. I felt so bad for her.

Max and Frank have never been seasick so they had a successful day. Max won, however. He caught more than me and Frank, as well as more than most of the people on the boat. He was pulling up one grouper after another!

We’re keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Chantal. We’re not worried (yet) because we are planning to return on Friday, which will, hopefully, be a day or two in front of Chantal. Since we got the last storm on the west coast, we’re going to be generous and let the east coast have Chantal. Heh…
