Max and Mason have been begging us to take them to Universal Studios to see the Jaws ride for as long as I can remember. We promised them long ago that some day we would take them. The other day, I just happened to be reading the local news, and noticed an article that said the park would be closing the Jaws exhibit for good on January 2nd. Ack!!

We already had a short trip planned to Orlando (we have season tickets to the Disney Properties) but we changed our plans, and will now be visiting Universal Studios for a whole day instead of Hollywood Studios. Needless to say, the boys are beyond excited.

I am waaaaay behind on my Christmas shopping, and taking this short trip isn’t going to be doing my Christmas shopping list any favors. I can’t WAIT until January because we have nothing planned! Yea!!!

We were on the large bridge driving into Punta Gorda last week. The afternoon sun was sparking on the water, a brisk breeze was blowing, and several anchored boats were bobbing on the whitecaps. Out of the blue, Mason said, “There are lots of sharks out today!”
