Bright Yellow, Burnt Orange and Bleeding Red!

Fall is the time of year when we get the most visitors. Everybody wants to see the finest Fall foliage and Fall in Maine is magical in its beauty. For about 3 weeks each year, the colors are so amazingly crisp and bright that we feel like we’re living in a postcard.

My parents were in town over the weekend, our friends Scott and Kelly are arriving on Friday, and the children’s godfathers will be here for Halloween. Whoo hoo!

I’m terribly behind after a fun weekend with my parents so today I’m sharing two pictures of the view from the “home office” right now. These were taken from the window that’s right in front of me.

This week’s Maxism:

We were on our way to our favorite sushi restaurant last week when, from the back seat, Max said, “I can’t wait to eat Japanese food!”

I asked, “What are you going to have?”

He replied, “Chicken nuggets.”

Hugs to all!
