Letters To The Editor For September 4th

I wish I’d known about BookLocker when I published my last book…

Angela,

You will most likely note on my Facebook posts that I just released a book. It is a non-fiction book about how my thinking changed on many things after surviving an (ocean) incident. Anyway, when I gave the self publisher the manuscript last December, I did not know about BookLocker. I wish I had. It took (that other publisher) eight months to get out a book of only 20,000 words. So far, in just one week, you have shown me in your book, 90 DAYS OF PROMOTING YOUR BOOK ONLINE: Your Book’s Daily Marketing Plan, in just two chapters, more about marketing than I ever learned from them.

All the other publisher has recommended so far is to pay $200.00 for a preferred spot on their bookstore website, which I don’t think many people visit. Anyway, looking forward to working with you.

Regards,

D.

Last week’s sweet Masonism

Hi, Ang.

I think it’s been 14 or 15 years now since I first started reading your WritersWeekly emails, and corresponding (sporadically) with you. Well, no matter how busy I am, I ALWAYS read “News from the Home Office“.

Just had to say that what Mason said to you about Frank turning 21 (and how he said it) was one of the BEST Hoy family sound bites ever. Absolutely precious … priceless … wisdom straight from his age-less soul. I loved it.

Hugs,
Carol
