I am a regular subscriber of your newsletter and just wanted to contact you and say thank you. I have been patient and persistent and it has paid off! Even though I write fiction, your words of wisdom on freelancing and writing in general have carried me through many tough times. Thank you for that…you don’t realize how many people you help and affect until word gets back to you so that’s why I am writing. To thank you and praise you. My book was finally released this month! It’s called Beneath My Mother’s Feet(Simon & Schuster: Atheneum), and has received happy happy reviews! I’ve even been chosen for Barnes & Noble’s Discover Great New Writers Campaign for this Fall 2008. It’s all so overwhelming and I did not want to go another day without thanking those who’ve supported me, knowingly and unknowingly.

Online Radio Shows

Hi Angela,

I thought you were right on in your article about Internet radio shows. I haven’t had much radio coverage with which to compare, but I recently was interviewed on Law of Attraction Radio, which is featured on blogtalkradio.com, and, while my visitors only went up a little, my hits skyrocketed the day the show aired.

I’m the featured guest once a month on a podcast listened to by 85,000 people in 90 countries each month and that doesn’t get me the same type of response as this show. When the podcast airs, my visitor count goes up a bit and my hits go up by about 500. When the LOA Radio show aired, my visitors increased about the same amount as with the podcast but my hits went up by 3,200!!!
