Just wanted to congratulate you on the wonderful article you wrote for fundsforwriters.com about writers getting paid. Bravo! Besides being a NY Times best selling author, I am also a media coach and am constantly telling my clients “if it doesn’t make dollars, it doesn’t make sense!”

Writers deserve to be paid as any other professional. It always fascinates me how people tend to believe that artists “enjoy their work so much” that they don’t need to be paid.

Since becoming a best selling author, I get more offers to do things “for free” than ever before.

I’ve learned a new complete sentence. “NO!”
