Ugly Fish!!!

Matt and Sarah arrived on Friday (yea!), and left on Tuesday (sniff!). We had four full days with them, which were awesome! It was the best Mother’s Day ever! We spent more time in our bathing suits than we did in regular clothes, going to the beach and splashing in the pool. They both caught fish in the backyard as well as at the pier we visited on Monday night.

I caught a really weird fish that I had to ask my friends on Facebook to try to identify. A picture is below. I apologize for the poor quality. It’s hard to take a good picture with one hand, while trying not to touch the slimy thing with my other bare other hand (notice the icky rag I pulled out of my tackle box).

Other people on the pier were saying, “What is it?! Ewww!!! Don’t touch it!!!” Believe me! Nobody had to warn me!! The human-like face on that fish made me think it was going to start lecturing me for catching it. Creepy!

I also took this photo. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking by now. I should be a professional photographer (not!). Ha ha ha!!

When we dropped Matt and Sarah off at the airport on Tuesday, I cried. We won’t see them again until Christmas. 🙁

This Week’s Masonism:
Max and Mason were talking about ghosts and Mason asked if there were any movies about ghosts he could watch. I told him about the movie “Ghost” with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore.

Mason responded, “Is it cartoonalized or are they real people?”

Big healing hugs to all,
Angela
