When Weekends Cause Exhaustion

On Friday, we drove to our property in Western Maine to pick up our RV. It’s due for some maintenance.

On Friday night, Richard’s dad arrived from Texas.

On Saturday, we attended two graduation parties.

On Saturday night, we had a big family dinner out.

On Sunday, Ali graduated (sniff!!!!).

On Sunday night, Ali attended project graduation and we ate dinner at home, after sitting outside and blowing huge bubbles for Max and Mason.

On Monday, I worked while Richard, Max, Mason and Grampa visited the nearby Fort.

On Monday night, we had a REALLY big family and friends dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant.

And, now things can bet back to normal. Shwew!!

When Zach graduated four years ago, I paid for a full-page ad in the yearbook. I included lots of pictures of his life and wrote a silly, yet sentimental poem about my baby boy.

This year, I missed the yearbook deadline and wasn’t able to run an ad there for Ali. So, we decided to run an ad in the paper instead. The paper liked the ad so much (it made the ad saleswoman cry) that they ran it on page two of section A. (That would have never happened if we didn’t live in such a small town – not much news here!)

Anyway, I wanted to share it with all of you today.

This week’s Maxism:

“A month is a big square full of days and weekends.”

Hugs to all!

Angela
