We’re OUTTA Here! Trekking To Tennessee In Search Of Fall!

We’re OUTTA Here! Trekking To Tennessee In Search Of Fall!

Each year, we grow weary of the Florida heat, and get homesick for a real fall. We are departing early Saturday morning, and will not return for two weeks. And, this year, we’re not only taking our dog, Coco, but we’re taking our cat, Rambo, as well. Nobody was available for kitty-sitting and we would never board one of our pets so Rambo is coming along for the adventure as well!

Aside from our usual jaunts to the Titanic Museum (a favorite of Max and Mason’s), and our favorite restaurants in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area, we’ll also be doing some hiking. But, we prefer to remain in the cabin, and relax. We only doing the “touristy” stuff one day while we’re there.

We also have movie night every night in the cabin. This year, we’ll be introducing Max and Mason to some classic 80’s movies. (I’m pretty sure we’re more excited about that than they are…)

This week’s Masonism:

During this highly-charged political season, we’ve been having some lively family conversations. During one recent discussion, Mason said, “Max should be a politician but…I’m leaning more toward being a dictator.”
