The kids had another snow day on Monday! Ug! At this rate, they’ll be in school all summer long just to make up for all the missed days! I guess I shouldn’t complain too much. It’s actually going to be 40 on Saturday (it’s 23 today). Gosh, we could have a picnic if there weren’t 3+ feet of packed snow on the ground! Aaarrghh!!!

What really stinks is that being stuck inside all the time really limits my creativity. Do you really want to read about yet another snowstorm? Me neither! I’m begging Richard to take us on another trip. Anything – anywhere! Just get us out of these winter doldrums! We had SO much fun in Portland the week before last that I’m anxious for more! Max has expressed an interest in skiing and, while it’s dangerous, I prefer the bunny hill myself (I never did learn how to stop) so maybe we’ll take a skiing trip in the next week or two.

This Week’s Maxism:
“You know what a person’s soul looks like? It looks like a red pepper.”
