Matt turned 21 this week (sniff). Seems like just yesterday he was a wee little teenager coming over to play videogames with little Zach.
Zach turned 21 last September, and is leaving this Sunday to take advantage of the birthday gift he received from Richard’s dad and step-mom, Rita – a trip to Vegas! Yeah, you can bet I wouldn’t buy a trip to Vegas for any of our children but Grandpa is cool and that’s what Zach got. He’s going with his girlfriend, Alyssa, and they’re meeting Grandpa and Rita there. They’ll have a grand time, for sure. We’ll be stuck here in Bangor… in the snow (pooey).
This week, I have a Frankism.
Frank, age 15, has a new girlfriend almost every day. We tease him about it but he doesn’t think it’s a big deal. We don’t even ask him their names anymore. He just says “my girlfriend” and we all assume it’s some new girl we’ve never met (and it always is).
Today, he was talking about his current girlfriend and said, “Abby is from Orrington.”
I asked, “Does she got to your school?”
He replied, “No, but the next one will.”
Hugs!
Angela
