Over The River And…

My brother and his family are driving here from Key Biscayne this week and all the children will be here so we’ll have a houseful! The best news is there will be three chefs in the house this year (Ali, Justin and Billy) so I don’t have to do any cooking at all. I will, however, gladly do dishes as a trade-off.

The weather here is absolutely perfect with 70-degree days and 50-degree nights. Too chilly to swim in the pool but just right for sitting outside in the afternoon, and for sleeping with the windows open. Thank goodness the mosquitoes and noseeums have left…for the time being, anyway.

This year, and every year, we are so very thankful for you, our readers, and we want to wish all of you a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving!

This week’s Masonism:

The boys have been making Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations in homeschooling arts and crafts. The other day, I said, “That’s a great Santa, Mason!”

He looked at me, rolled his eyes, and replied, “It’s not Santa. It’s the Annoying Orange.”

Big hugs to all,
Angela

P.S. I want to “follow” you!
