I love Christmas but I am SO relieved it is over. One of my favorite pastimes is writing and holiday mayhem sends my muse into hiding. She is back, however, and begging to be let out to play.
I am also ready for Spring. One nice thing about living in Florida is we don’t have to endure another three months of freezing temperatures after Christmas has come and gone.
In fact, as I’m writing this, it’s 75 degrees and sunny out. Santa brought me a new bicycle for Christmas and I might just take it for a spin before sunset.
Last week, we bought and planted some banana and mango trees. I love being able to garden year-round!
This week’s Masonism:
Mason was helping me with the Christmas baking last week. He sure loves working in the kitchen so I asked him, “Do you want to be a chef someday?”
He replied, “Yes, for Cracker Barrel.”
Big new year’s hugs to all!
P.S. I want to “follow” you!
