Max (age 10) and Mason (age 5) got to go on three field trips this week! There are so many museums and other educational and natural attractions near our new house that we’ll never run out of things do.
On Sunday, we visited the Mote Aquarium and they had the cutest little seahorse nursery in addition to a shark tank, which the boys were thrilled to see!
On Monday, we visited the Ringling Museum of Art and the Circus Museum, and took a tour of Ca’ d’Zan, the summer home of John and Mable Ringling.
On Tuesday, we visited the Cortez Maritime Museum, which the kids LOVED because they had lots of model boats.
We also visited Books a Million and the boys got to choose some new books for their homeschooling “reading time.” It’s difficult to get them to sit still for long this week, though, because Grampa is arriving on Friday and he promised to take them to Toys R Us. 😉
This week’s Masonism:
“Bookstores smell so good…like fresh out of the oven.”
Big hugs to all,
Angela
P.S. I want to “follow” you!
