Max and Mason are giddy with excitement, counting down the days until Halloween. Max has his own horror dolls and other creepy characters displayed on his desk. Mason (age 4) gives the desk a wide berth when he passes by.
Last weekend, it was raining and the boys were bored. I suggested they build a fort in their room. They laid down four quilts for comfort, set up chairs for corners, and hung up a sheet for the ceiling and walls. They even managed to move their TV in there. Max wanted to move the horror dolls into the fort but Mason said, “No! I want a nice fort! I want an animal fort!”
Max agreed and they then moved all their stuffed animals in there. That was four days ago and, except for school and meals, we haven’t seen much of them since. They’re having a blast!
I have a Masonism for you this week.
“Mommy, are you going to grow a mustache tomorrow?”
Hugs to all!
Angela
