I am feeling much better since my surgery. My hemoglobin is creeping upward so my energy level is higher as well. I felt so good last weekend, in fact, that I started my Christmas shopping! It didn’t take too much energy, though, since I was only doing it online. Heh… It was the best Sunday I’ve had in a long time. I sat in bed all day, shopping, watching movies, and also working on a gift I’m making for my mom. I’m calling it the Taj Majal and I’m starting to think it just might not get done in time for Christmas. If not, maybe I can finished it by next Mother’s Day.
Looks like we’re going to have a full house for Thanksgiving after all. My extended family members from out of state will not be here but my brother and his family are coming in from Key Biscayne and Ali and Justin invited some friends to join us. The nice thing is, they said I don’t have to lift a finger! Yea! I only have to lift my fork!!
They think that I think they’re just being nice but I know it’s because the are FAR better chefs than I and that is just fine with me. I have always been a far more enthusiastic taste-tester than cook anyway.
This week’s Masonism:
When I was tucking Mason in the other night, he hugged me tight and said, “Mommy, you just fill my life with lots of love!!!”
Big hugs to all,
Angela
P.S. I want to “follow” you!
