I’ve been checking the weather without luck every single day so I was shocked when Frank woke me up on Saturday morning to tell me it was SNOWING! It was blowing pretty good so I ran through the house, waking up all the children to tell them to get dressed for the annual Christmas Card Photo! Whoo hoo! Of course, the older kids had to call their significant others so we had to wait for them, too.
If you’ve ever tried to organize a semi-formal photo of nine young people, you know what I went through. The wind and snow were blowing right in their faces. (Funny for me – not so much for them. Same thing every year. Heh…) I took several photos and, while none of them is perfect (far from it!), we did get a couple of useable ones. I wanted to share some of the not-so-usable poses that appeared in the pictures:
