Last Thursday, we jumped in the RV and drove to the coast. We already had reservations at a campground there and we were determined to go, despite the forecast of rain – for every day of our trip. The weatherman was exactly right. It did indeed rain every day. However, there were occasional peeks of sunshine so Max and Mason were able to play outside sporadically. Max found a number of sea creatures and was able to identify them using the new book we bought him, The Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Seashore Creatures. Homeschooling can be so much fun! He had a blast.
We ate at some nice restaurants, roasted marshmallows, and had a very relaxing weekend. We drove home on Sunday so I could spend Mother’s Day with all the kids.
This week’s Maxism:
“I wish I was bald so I wouldn’t have to wash my hair!”
Hugs to all!
Angela
