Reading and writing were never my “thing.” As a young child, I actually despised both.
I used to say, “Who has time to read?” and “WHY would someone read for fun?” and “WHY write anything more than your name down on a piece of paper?”

Without reading it all — I didn’t need to — she is lying. Get a lawyer NOW. If she is a professional she will be registered someplace, even I am registered and I am only a care aide. If she truly is then you can fix her for being unprofessional and using her degree out of place. I have training in dementia care and he does not sound demented. I wouldn’t be posting their words online either; they can get you on that.

A low pressure system stalled over us last weekend and we’ve had four straight days of heavy, oppressive skies. Dark gray clouds as far as the horizon and barely a wisp of breeze. Every two or three hours, the wind will quickly pick up and we’ll get slammed with a deluge of rain. She sent me a scathing email, laden with typos (which was odd because she claims to be a “mental health professional” with a PhD), saying that my note to her father forced her to discuss this with her father before she was ready to do so (remember that part for later). She made allegations about her dad being verbally abusive toward his wife. She made some other pretty disturbing accusations about him as well. She said I shouldn’t have contacted him without having medical or psychological training (what?!).
