My Ugly Fish Was NOT a Puffer Fish!

Last week, I reported that two readers (one was a fisherman) said my ugly fish was a puffer or blow fish. However, another reader notified me that it’s a toad fish, and sent me a link. Sure enough, THIS is what I caught!

Max, Frank and I are very excited about next week. We’ve been invited on a fishing charter and we’re planning to catch some BIG ONES. Mason isn’t quite old enough to go out on a boat in blue water for a whole day yet (we’re not yet sure if he gets seasick or not) so Richard promised to spend the day with him doing something special. I told them, “You guys need to stay at home and clean out the deep freeze ’cause, honey, we’re gonna bring home enough fish to get us through the rest of the year!”

Ha ha!

This week’s Masonism:

A couple of weeks ago, I had the sniffles for a few days. It was pretty mild but also mildly annoying. A few days later, Mason woke up with sniffles, too. He said,
“Dad, I caught Mom’s cold so she must be all better!”

Big hugs to all,
Angela
