This weekend, Richard, along with a friend of ours, is taking a two-day wilderness survival course. The guys invited me but I gracefully bowed out. While they’re sleeping on the ground, getting eaten by mosquitoes, and practice doing stitches with pigs’ feet, I’ll be home with Max and Mason, working, watching Netflix, sleeping in my big, comfy, bed, and eating hot, steaming pizza. Heaven!
THIS WEEK’S MASONISM
Max and Mason had two friends over. Light sabers emerged. Chaos erupted, and I counted the minutes until it was time to send the screeching children home. Mason (who has quite a talent for language arts) broke away from his friends for a minute, and said, “Mom, how do you spell pandemonium?”
