I recently received an email from (a book marketing firm) asking me to use their service to promote my book. Do you know anything about them and do you have an evaluation of their service?

If they’re resorting to spamming you (which is illegal) to promote their own company, I wouldn’t trust them to promote your book. Don’t do business with spammers. If they use spam to promote themselves, they likely use spam to promote books. There’s no faster way to ruin your reputation online than to have your name and book associated with a spammer.
