Angela,
I received this e-mail from an agent I queried for my novel.
ANYTIME a prospective agent offers editing services as part of their “full package”, AND at the author’s expense, it raises a red flag. To me it’s a complete conflict of interest.
What do you think? The e-mail is below.
Thanks and hugs!
Peter
(Peter’s email appears to be a form marketing letter from “Cris Robins” of The Robins Agency, which was sent in response to Peter’s submission.)
Peter,
Never submit a manuscript to a “literary agent” without first googling them.
If you google “robins agency” the very first result on google.com is a warning posted on our site, writersweekly.com. See: https://forums.writersweekly.com/viewtopic.php?t=3539
