CONGRATS to Chris Huss, who was the first to correctly (and brilliantly!) answer this week’s question: Charging $100 for snacks was ridiculous for a host or reasons. The scammers only held events sporadically and they were always online events. No true book club charges anyone a fee for snacks. It’s simply another instance of too lazy to do anything productive, but not too lazy to steal from those who are.

According to this week’s issue, why was a request for payment for “snacks” for a readers’ group so ridiculous?
