Free-Textbook Company (Allegedly) Rewrites Its Content Following Publishers’ Lawsuit
A free-textbook company that was sued last year by three major textbook publishers has now (allegedly) rewritten the content it was accused of stealing.
A proposed Texas law would promote correcting incorrect news, online and off
If passed, the bill would require a plaintiff give publishers the opportunity to correct, clarify, or withdraw false information in order to receive punitive damages in a defamation lawsuit – and it would apply to online media.

While proofreading my book “Notes Toward A New Rhetoric” before submitting it to BookLocker, I had my Mac read the entire book out loud to me.
I don’t know whether a PC can do the reading aloud. On a Mac, it can be turned on under System Preferences=>Speech=>Text to Speech. They give you a variety of voices to choose from. I like Bruce and Veronica.
