Do You Have More Book Ideas Than Time to Write? Me, Too!! By Angela Hoy
printable version
This time of year, most of us are feeling ambitious and thinking about ideas for new books we want to write. It always happens to me, too. New Year's Day = New Book Ideas! I can't help it. They come spilling out of my brain faster than I can process them. In fact, I have a "book ideas" folder in my email box. It's filled to the brim with ideas for books that I will never, ever have time to write.
Rather than letting my ideas languish for eternity, I thought I'd share them with you here. If you, too, have a pile of book ideas that you'll never use, and want to give other authors a creative boost, please send your ideas to me here and I'll post them next week. If you have any humorous book ideas (i.e. How to Read a Book), I'd love to see and post those, too!
Here are a few of mine:
An Eye for an Eye
Real stories about revenge that eventually came back to haunt the evenger
Mental Health Food
Twist that any way you want.
Confessions of...
A series of books that offer readers insight into something they'd probably want to know more about - i.e. Confessions of a Used Car Salesman, Confession of a Mortgage Broker, Confessions of a Meat Packer... You get the picture.
Anthology of Imaginary Friend stories
Epiphany
True stories of people who completely changed their lives to live their dream
and
The Book of Book Ideas for Writers - ha ha
