Oh Dear! The In-Laws are Here!!
printable version

Well, Mason is just about a month old and I only have 13 lbs. left to lose. Problem is, I lost more than 30 lbs. in the hospital and then only lost another 8 the first week after we got home. In all honesty, it's not like I've really tried to lose any weight. I swear women have cravings when they're nursing, too, and I sure can't deny Mason if he wants milk that, say, tastes like chocolate chip cookies or caramel corn. So, that old dieting stuff is just going to have to wait awhile! The good news is I did find one pair of jeans that does fit! Okay, they're a bit tight and getting the zipper zipped makes me break a sweat, but they don't look half bad when I finally get them on.

Richard's dad and step-mom are here for a 9-day stay. We'll be entertaining them during the day on most days and we'll be working nights to stay caught up. We have lots of fun, touristy activities planned. And, Mason is doing exceptionally well and enjoys taking rides in the van and riding on us in his little baby pack. It's quite comfy.

And, he's started cooing! He has the cutest little voice!! :)

We're thanking God daily for our smiling, cooing, drooling little miracle!!

Hugs to all!
Ang
