We’re Finally IN Our Forever Home!

It’s been a grueling couple of weeks but we’re finally in the new house! There are boxes everywhere but the kitchen is unpacked and I’m happy to say the only thing that broke during the move was a bottle of chocolate syrup. Pretty messy. I can’t wait to have everything unpacked and settled but that’ll take a few days because my first priority is getting caught up on my work.

We’re calling this our “forever house”, telling the kids we are NOT moving again, unless a hurricane blows the house away, of course. The weather has been incredible! When I was driving on Longboat Key yesterday afternoon, it was 68 degrees and the waves in the gulf were so high there was mist and sand racing across the road. It was soooo beautiful!! 🙂

I have a Maxism for you this week.

The other day, Max (age 10) said, “I’m not going to have kids when I grow up.”

I asked, “Why not?”

He replied, “They’re annoying.”

I said, “You’ll change your mind when you’re older.”

He held up his hand, and retorted, “Don’t encourage me.”

Big hugs to all,
Angela

P.S. I want to “follow” you!
