MEOW! THUMP THUMP THUMP…

MEOW! THUMP THUMP THUMP…

I woke up last night because Zach, our oldest, had the TV on too loud downstairs. I didn’t want to wake up the little ones so I didn’t run on the front hall light as I headed for the stairs, intent on reprimanding Zach.

I was walking down the stairs in the dark and, in a flash, heard a loud “MEOW!!!”, felt my left foot slip forward, over a furry back, left my right leg behind (discovered I can still do the the splits!), bent my right big toe forward, got a nasty carpet burn and bruise on my elbow, and managed to grab the banister with my left hand, preventing me from falling ALL the way down. However, I wrenched my should pretty bad when breaking my fall. It’s not dislocated (I can move it) but it kept me up most of the night and I’m not using my arm (only need my hand to type).

The biggest problem is…a video camera wasn’t rolling!

THIS WEEK’S MAXISM

While looking at one of Frank’s new lizards, Max said, “I wonder what he tastes like…”

Hugs to all!
