Boy, I sure am tired of people getting offended by the word Christmas, and Christmas decorations and the like. I am not Jewish yet I’ve never been offended by a Menorah, nor any other symbol or celebration of a religion to which I do not belong. To each his own, live and let live, and all that stuff. Why do people have to spew so much hatred this time of year? “Can we all just get along?” (R.I.P. Rodney King!)

Anyway, while I got my shopping done early, and while everything that needs to be shipped out of town is out the door and safely in the hands of UPS. My problem is I am WAY behind on my wrapping. Ali has been helping but we’ve kept her busy with other things, too. I just need to spend one day and get it all done…preferably BEFORE Christmas Eve. 😉

I need to let you know that we’re not going to send out an issue next week. I usually pull the issues together on Tuesdays. Next Tuesday is Christmas. We also have multiple guests arriving in the next few days and it’s going to be a bit hairy here. I put Richard in charge of breakfasts and beverages. Lunch will be D.I.Y. each day and Ali, Rita (my step-mom-in-law who is SO COOL) and I will be in charge of dinners and desserts. We’ll have guests from today until around January 10th. We love it when everybody comes here for Christmas! 🙂

This week’s Masonism:

We were watching the cartoon of The Night Before Christmas and the narrator said, “And, laying a finger aside of his nose…”

Mason said, “What?! He put his finger INSIDE his nose?!?!”

Richard and I and the rest of the WritersWeekly and BookLocker gang wish all of you a beautiful and safe Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa!

Big holiday hugs to all!
Angela

P.S. I want to “follow” you!
