I Have Cabin Fever!

When we lived in Maine, I would get a horrible case of cabin fever at the end of winter. It hasn’t happened since we moved to Florida…until now. Ever since last weekend, I have had the urge to hit the road and head to a hotel on a tropical beach somewhere. The RV and a beachside campground would be ideal but the RV is currently kaput, waiting on a big repair job. Ug.

Since I can’t go to a tropical beach right now, I’d be willing to settle for some beach stories. So, since the Spring 24-Hour Short Story Contest is this weekend, I’m thinking a tropical beach might need to be incorporated into the topic somehow. Hmmm…

This week’s Masonism:

Max (age 11) ordered a new Rubix Cube from Ebay. When it arrived, Mason (age 6) stood by while Max opened the box. When Max pulled out the brand new Rubix Cube, displayed in its shiny, transparent package, Mason said, “But, Max, it’s already solved!!”
