Disney Again?!

I’m not a big fan of amusement parks (especially The Magic Kingdom) but I am excited about visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We’re meeting Richard’s sister and her family there later this week and Frank (age 19) is bringing his new girlfriend so we’ll get to know her better. She’ll be here all day on Wednesday with us while Frank is at school so I’m thinkin’ that’ll be a good time to pull out all the old photo albums. Heh…

On Monday afternoon, Ali and Justin came to visit. They cooked a scrumptious dinner and we then drove to the beach to teach Ali how to hunt for shark’s teeth. The surf was pretty rough but that actually made it much easier to find them. The waves kept churning up the shells already on the beach. I found 17 in an hour and one of them was the biggest one we’ve found yet!

Next week for homeschooling science, we’re going to research the 50+ teeth we’ve found so far, and determine which type of shark each one came from. We love homeschooling!!!

This week’s Masonism:

We were on our way home in the truck the other day when Mason said, “Mommy, where do babies come from?”

Richard and I glanced at each other and I replied, “Where do YOU think they come from, honey?”

He said, “You get them at the store…but you can’t take them back.”

I turned around, suspicious that Max (age 10) had put him up to this conversation. I said, “Mason, where did you hear that?”

He smiled, and said. “YouTube!”

Big hugs to all,
Angela

P.S. I want to “follow” you!
