Richard Offers Advice on Newsletter Email Distribution Service
printable version

Do you have any recommendations on a newsletter email distribution service. I'm just looking at 200 subscribers - bimonthly for a nonprofit. Nothing fancy.

Thanks!
Becky

Unfortunately, with lists that small there are not any good solutions.

If you have a website, many of the hosting companies include email list distribution software. You might want to check with them.

You might also consider buying a program that does it from your computer. Go here:

http://www.download.com/

Search for "bulk email".

Remember, though, just because these programs are categorized under "bulk email" doesn't mean you should send email willy-nilly. Follow good email practices. I wrote an article a long time ago about best practices for email newsletters. You can find it here:

The links in the article are a bit out of date, but the content of the article is still valid.

best,
richard
